Project Description

Scientists have concluded that human activity around the world is partly to blame for our climate trajectory, yet the specific causes and effects are invisible or unknown to us because of the scale or timeline. In this studio, we will look at what is happening to to our climate and try to identify the direct and indirect consequences on society.  Are the effects the same locally as they are globally? How does this affect where people live,  how they live and what ethical dilemmas they will face or are confronting already? Students will identify stories they want to tell about climate change, looking closely at specific stakeholders or community members invested in a sustained and predictable future. While exploring this narrative development, students will use stop motion techniques to communicate their ideas.
